Wall Mounted Transfer Hatch Budget and Standard Versions
Norton Scientific Transfer hatches are double skin manufactured from 1.5mm stainless steel, in 304 or 316 grade polished to a 240 grit.
This provides a product that affords easy cleaning with no dirt traps.
The standard range have steel framed doors, with a vison panel, of either acrylic or toughened glass. (non vision options available at no cost)
The doors are retained by way of a lever handles that clamp the doors closed.
The hatches have the rotating manual interlock handle ensuring that only one door can be open at any one time.
All hatches are normally supplied with a fixed flange to the flush wall side.
The opposite room side has a loose flange for fixing on installation.
Norton Scientific budget range of hatches have all the same construction features as the standard range, except that they have acrylic vision doors with magnet clamp retainers. (non vision options available at no cost).
The hatches have the same rotating manual interlock handle ensuring that only one door can be open at any one time, and are designed to allow a small cascade of cleaning air through the hatch from the higher pressure side through to the other room side.
