Wall Mounted Transfer Hatch Intumescing and Lead Lined
Norton Scientific intumescing hatches are made of the same robust and easy clean construction as the standard range.
The doors incorporate the lever clamp design to ensure that the 70 minute rated intumescing door seals are allowed to work correctly.
The doors can be supplied solid none vision or with an option of:-
30 minute rated 7mm Pyrobelite clear laminated glass
60 minute rated 6mm “Pyran S” borosilicate glass
120 minute rated FIRELITE 8.8mm laminated glass – special requests only
Norton Scientific Lead Lined hatches are lined inside the double skin fabrication with the appropriate thickness of lead for your requirement,
and the doors can be either none vision metal lead lined or fitted with leaded impregnated vision glass.
The default manufacture is 1.3 mm lead thickness (code 3 equivalent)
With 6.5mm glass panels both sides = 1.5 mm Lead equivalent @ 150 Kv
